Dianne’s 7-8 years of Input and Service into Heart-to-Heart Non Profit Organistion

Our projects and services focus on prevention of new HIV infections, support of those already infected and affected, as well as human rights and access to justice. The goal of Heart-to-Heart Care Centre is to continue to make a difference in the HIV/AIDS and TB field.

We combine dynamic health and education initiatives in an integrated fight against Poverty and HIV/AIDS, encouraging behaviour change that will result in restoring hope and advocating an improved quality of life to every member of our community, through skills development to become self-sustainable.

Dianne was part of our Organisation from 1998 – 2005/6, with the exception of 9 months away in Egypt during 2000.

Dianne has a passion and love for children and was our High School Programme Coordinator. She pioneered the programme and was responsible for the Life Skills Curriculum, training staff/volunteers and for the execution of the programme. She did counselling and mentorship twice a week at a local High School, and presented a variety of Workshops at various Schools and other Community Institutions.

Heart-to-Heart also ran a very successful Youth in Conflict with the Law Programme, in our local Prison. Dianne taught Life Skills to the young inmates, and also presented Team Building Sessions with the Prison staff, in addition to assisting staff with youth development.

Dianne possesses the ultimate can do attitude while taking on all tasks with a positive energy and a smile. She is organized, efficient and extremely competent. She takes initiative to go beyond the expected parameters of her job. Dianne maintained a high level of productivity, while maintaining high standards of quality and excellence.
